Paul Snook originally left England partly as a tax exile and partly
to be closer to the music he loved, namely the music of black America.
He had talks with American radio stations in Los Angles & New Orleans
but could not reach a satisfactory arrangement with either of them (too
many college students ready to work on radio for next to nothing).
After a brief period in Atlanta & New York importing Sound & Lighting
equipment for the American disco scene which was in its infancy he became
a real estate investor and settled in Cleveland, Ohio.
Cleveland is the home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum where
Paul is a “Docent” (expert volunteer). He is now semi retired and lives
on a sail boat during the summer and in an apartment during the winter.
Interestingly the family tradition continues with his elder daughter
who is also a Radio & Club DJ.
