MoFunk are one of the hottest live acts this side
of Cuba. After only 2 years this multicultural band have been dubbed
one of Bristol's finest and have been spreading their blend of Funk,
Jazz and Latin sounds to wider audiences around Britain and Europe's
festival scenes. Just back from their second successful tour of
Italy MoFunk have just released their debut album 'Deep Phried Phat
Funk' which consists of seven highly original tracks guaranteed
to get you all dancing. After a successful tour of last summer's
festivals, including Glastonbury and Ashton Court, they are now
warming up for another sizzling year. With a new set on the horizon
even long standing fans can expect to be kept on their toes. Fronted
by the high energy vocals of singer Colin Power and Cuban rapper
Alain Hernandez, this 13 piece band will knock your socks off with
their mix of Latin percussion with a fantastically funky rhythm
section, keys, guitar and a 4 piece horn section quoted as being
'comparable to the sound of taxi horns between Harlem and Brooklyn'.
