Big
up the Soultrain Crew!!! Yep, yep, yep, yep. All of us of the
Henry Family and Friends x 15 thought the night was 'Top Dollar'.
There was a good selection of music that flowed well into the
70's & 80's (okay I'm bias), sensible Crowd (Big up Cluskies
security)and yep it was one of the 'best night ever', 'great
dj' etc etc. . . a superb night all round, well done to all
you ST boys for pulling it off - top night! Regards Da Henry

NOTE
FOR SOULTRAIN
I tend to agree with Scott and suggest that its best if soultrain
post several of your definitive top 50s to get things rolling.
Genres - perhaps jazz-funk, disco, rare groove, funk, boogie,
soul & club classics for starters?
Once soultrain have posted lists, people can use your 'dynamic'
system to add to them.

Soultrain comments:
- Have put up first lists at
www.soultrain.co.uk/Lists.htm |
| Steve | gilesxsteve~AT~aol~DOT~com |
Well
I've said before it would be good to see some soultrain charts
on the site, but here is one from me to get the ball rolling.
Something slightly different.
CLASSIC SOUL JAZZ FUNK 12' REMIXES
Ashford & Simpson - It Seems To Hang On (Warner Bros)
Zapp - Computer Love (Warner Bros)
Slave - Snapshot (Cotillion)
Linda Clifford - Runaway Love (Curtom)
Willie Bobo - Always There (Columbia)
Funkadelic - One Nation Under A Groove (Warner Bros)
Velvet Hammer - I Can't Believe (Chila)
Viola Wills - Dare To Dream (Streetwave)
Eddie Drennon - Let's Do The Latin Hustle (Friends & Co)
Candido - Jingo (Salsoul)
Atlantic Starr - Silver Shadow (A&M)
Juggy Jones - Inside America (Jupiter)
Esther Williams - Last Night Changed It All (Friends & Co)
Aurra - When I Come Home (Dream)

June 2002
Soultrain comments:
- Thanks for the list Steve.
I am hoping to add a dynamic voting booth.
When I do I will add your selection.
Maybe there ought to be serveral lists split into catagories
- any ideas for catagories !
- Webmaster |
| Scott | carter_scott~AT~talk21~DOT~com |
Good
idea. Can soultrain maybe put your top 20s or better still some
top 50s (bearing in mind the huge amount of tunes!)on the site
covering say classic funk, soul, jazz-funk, boogie etc.
It might hopefully provoke some interaction here on the board
and visitors can post their favourites as well.

How
about listing a Soultrain top twenty jazzfunk and a top twenty
raregroove tunes on the site.
You could get visitors to comment or suggest alternatives if
you put up some starter lists.
