Hi I'm Mike - I DJed in the Vaulted Hall/ Bar on NYE. I mixed it up a bit playing a range of rare Groove, funk, 70', 80's, bit of Northern, current funk (like sharon Jones), soulful R'n'b (like Jaheim, Mary J), 2005 Modern and Independent soul (like Martha redbone, Shy FX), Soulful/Gospel House (Ann Nesby), pre release (the Fatbacks/Bah Samba thing), current biggies (Vince Montana) etc etc. The feedback I got on the night was good but I'd be interested in any other comments either in open forum or email me direct at the link above. Following the lead on the News Page please feedback. many thanks, and have a great New Year

If there are any ticket cancellations please contact me. Perhaps you can perform " yellow magic" to produce some more tickets. lol

Hy soultrain people,Im a 24 year-old brazilian music student and I was looking for soul/funk songs from the 70's to know more about it when I saw your page showing me really good stuff,I just love the set youve wrote down there,it gives me the perfect idea of what real soul music was and how it felt,I'm very happy now my band and I can study it from the roots. To all of you soulovers, my big-ups and thanks.

I have been a DJ since back in those days and I remember it being such a wonderful time for dance music. Still got so many of the old 12" stuff. Glad someone still loves it too - Thankyou Soul Train IJ (The Bomb)
