15 YEARS OF SOULTRAIN 1992-2007
We would like to thank all followers of soultrain
for
holding it down and for your tremendous support over the last 15
years - we've had a BLAST.
The highlights over the last 15 years include Glastonbury Dance Tent
- 14,000
funksters-funkin it up. Dedicated Soul shows on first what was Eagle
Radio and now Bristol's STAR Radio, SOUL'd out New Years Eve at Ashton
Court Mansions, appearances with The Fatback Band, Jazzy
B Soul II Soul,
Alexander O Neal, Gil Scott Heron, Edwin Starr, Sister Sledge, Rose
Royce, Real Thing, The Average White Band, Heatwave,
Imigination,
Pee Wee
Ellis and Martine Girault etc.

Steve Ashby's / Avon Soul Army's funk 45's are legendary.
On the 29th of December we celebrated 15 years of Soultrain with all
the original Soultrain DJ's back again for their
last and final appearance together. What started off as a one off event
on the 29th Dec 1992 -15 years ago has now become one of the longest
running
club nights in the country.
SOULTRAIN
in 2008
FUTURE SOULTRAIN post 2008 will re-emerge mixing
up old and new soul styles on a retro tip fronted by STAR Radio and
Soultrain presenter Ricky 2 Tuff, representing Passion Radio will be
Brother Nick, with Soultrain's very own Greg Alexander, with MC
Bandyt + guests/friends of soultrain Mike Shaw, Paul Conroy, Mike
Ashley etc tbc + guest appearances tbc Greg Edwards. Not forgetting the
legendary Jazz Soul sessions with Al B & Jerry L.

The Nu Soul /Jazz sounds of the Light Of THe World for
Sunday 4th May 2008 - now confirmed.
