About Ricky:
I have been on the DJ circuit for the last 23 years, with consistent residencies weekly for the last 18 years. I have also worked the decks in various locations abroad, including Spain, Greece and USA. I have also over the years enjoyed various stints on local radio. My preferred musical genres are Soul, Funk, R&B, Disco, Jazz Funk & Rare Groove - although I can play almost any tpye of music (except punk and heavy rock - only because I don't understand what it's all about!)
HOBBIES: Watching football (Man United fan), ice hockey (I used to play), cricket, chess, reading, eating out, and DJing!

The people (never a dull moment in the city)
Soultrain (amazing events!)
Bars and Clubs (in particular Comfi, Bar Celona, Joe Public and Que Pasa
Restaurants (My faves are San Carlo, Carpe Diem and numerous indian restaurants)
Lots of shopping districts and areas
The wealth of musical talent across the city in all genres
Star Radio - strictly because of its originality and fun community element
